SPACER KIT
Unbolt the six wheels from the
suspension, remove the wheels and the stock mounting blocks.
Leaving the front four mounting bolts in place, slide the new spacer
blocks in place against the rail, the front set with the lower hole, the second
set has no lower hole. On the front set of blocks drill the lower hole in
the rail using a 5/16” drill bit, using the block as a template. Put the lower
bolt in place through the block, and then the rail. Put a washer on the bolt,
and then a locknut and tighten. Put the wheel in place, the original bolts
through the wheels and then tighten.
On the second set of blocks it doesn’t require the lower area to
be bolted in place because of the reinforcement to the inside of the rail, just
bolt the wheel back in place on the new mounting block without the lower hole.
On
Attak and Rage models, the lower mount for the rear set of blocks bolts through
the existing slot in the rail. For Apex and Vector models put the rear set of
blocks to the outside of the rail to use it as a template, use the wheel
mounting bolt as a guide through the block, clamp the block in place, or mark
the rail and then drill the rail (if you’ve remove the block to drill the
mounting hole it’s recommended to center punch your mark and start with a
smaller pilot hole), and then drill the mounting hole. Place the block to the
inside of the rail, put the lower mounting bolt through the block and then the
rail, put the washer and then the locknut and tighten. Put the wheels in place,
the bolt through the wheel, spacer, and rail (with the washer on it), put the
nut on and tighten.
