Small Wheel Kit

On the Pro-Action suspension, place the wheel block onto the rail and slide it back against the rail bump stop bracket (to the outside of the rail). Note: It's important not to move the block forward of the bracket or the wheel could interfere with the W-arm when it is compressed in its travel. For the Monoshock suspension measure back 3/4" from the back edge of the bump stop to the front side of the mounting bracket. To be sure you are mounting the wheel properly, loosely mount the wheel in place on the bracket and put in place making sure the kit wheel clears the front most stock wheel. On the Pro-active suspension mount the bracket 2" back from the center of the limiter strap cross shaft bolt to the center of the wheel block, to the outside of the rail. You can also mount a set at the inside of the rail at the back edge of the 4 slots in the rail (near the center of the rail), place the block to the inside and put the block in place where the mounting hole is exposed at the back edge of the 4th slot, you can also use a die grinder or file to notch the bottom edge of the slot so the mounting bolt will go in straight.

Using the block as a template mark the rail through the small hole in the bottom of the block using a transfer punch or drill bit. Remove the block and drill a 3/16” pilot hole through the rail where you marked, then drill out your pilot hole with a 25/64” drill bit.

After you have drilled your hole in each rail put a 3/8” washer on each 3/8” x ¾” socket head bolt , put 271 Loctite (red) on the bolt, and put the bolt through the hole you drilled in the rail from the inside. Screw the bolt into the block and tighten.

Put the wheel spacer into the wheel bearing from the snap ring side of the wheel. Put the large flange side of the spacer against the wheel block with the wheel on it and mount in place with a ½” x 1 ½” bolt and ½” flat washer. Put 271 Loctite (red) on each bolt and tighten.

To insure proper strength the Loctite should be allowed to cure 24 hours at room temperature.
